Get Used to It -- Sky-High Oil Prices Are Here to Stay

This ain't a bubble, folks. Better get used to it.

We've gotten a a little relief in recent days, but the stubborn upward spiral of oil prices isn't going to let up to any significant degree. Yes, there's some debate between economists and industry analysts who fall into two camps -- Bubble, Not-a-Bubble -- but the evidence suggests high prices are here to stay.

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman is firmly in the not-a-bubble camp. The only way for speculators to have a persistent effect on oil prices, he maintains, is if there is hoarding -- a tightening of supplies. There's no evidence of that. Oil inventories have remained at more or less normal levels throughout the recent run-up in prices.

Kevin Drum, from CBS News, agrees. He points out that the Energy Information Agency has been consistently wrong in its near-term forecasts for months now. The agency seems to insist that we're living in an oil-price bubble, but reality refuses to comply.

Are You Recruiting In Vain?

Have your recruiting efforts be in vain?
Once you do get a recruit, are you paid once and that's it?

I believe its a wonderful thing if you have ten's, hundred's or thousand's of people in your downline BUT if you're not getting paid TREMENDOUSLY for them then
your recruiting efforts are in vain.

Think about it for second, if you sponsor 1 person into your program how much do you get paid monthly for that 1 person? Notice I said MONTHLY not ONE TIME. Then how much do you get paid MONTHLY, if you sponsor 2 or 3 people in your program? Key word again - MONTHLY! I'll address this a little later.

There are programs out there that give great fast start bonuses but it costs $300 or more to get involved. With gas prices, foreclosures and the cost of food skyrocketing people can't afford to get involved and trust these programs with false promises. Then you have your streamline and binary programs that take literally hundreds of people before you even see a $1000 in commission per month. You go broke in the process of paying for the product or service the companies provides before meeting the quota of 10 or 12 people sponsored to break even. Not to mention all the money you've spent on advertising trying to obtain those personally sponsored recruits.

A lot of the blame, I believe, are the companies who are profiting heavily from the work of the people knowing that 97% to 99% of the people are failing in the process. The 1% - 3% of the successful MLMer's are the ones who got in early and built themselves huge downlines from years of doing mlm and taking their downlines and moving them from program to program with them.

I was reading an email from somebody earlier today and this caught my attention.

in·san·i·ty (noun) - continue doing the same things and expect different results!

Think about that for a minute! I'm just as guilty of it as anybody else but how many of us truly are doing the same thing DAILY expecting different results. Put Your hand down... it was a hypothetical question.

Really, there's been many of days where I sat back thinking I want a new job, I want to Be a millionaire or I wish I was 30lbs. smaller, I this and I that! But what have we really done about those things we think and we say! 99% of the time, NOTHING... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

So that brings me to my point, a lot of people bad mouth MLM, network marketing or whatever you want to call it but they've never tried it, had a bad sponsor or were just in the wrong program.
